"I Love a Piano"

I LOVE A PIANO is a new musical that looks at America through the perceptive and hopeful eyes of Irving Berlin. With over 60 great songs, this all singing, all dancing review follows the journey of a piano from Tin Pan Alley to the present as it winds its way through the lives of Americans. "When asked where Irving Berlin ranked in American music, fellow giant Jerome Kern famously said, 'Irving Berlin has no place in American music. He is American music.' The enduring truth of Kern's assessment underpins the showbiz panache of 'I Love a Piano,' ...as invigorating a song-catalog revue as any since AIN'T MISBEHAVIN." ...Los Angeles Times

The Clash of Civilizations

Mark Seddon, diplomatic correspondent for Al Jazeera English, offers a fresh perspective into what motivates the developed and the developing world, with a special emphasis on the latest conflicts and some candid advice on what to do about them. His unique insights come from being a former member of the UK Labour Party'’s ruling National Executive Committee. While involved with the committee, it was not uncommon for Seddon to come into contact with such key political players as Tony Blair. He'’s not afraid of controversy and will argue that the failure of politicians and journalists to challenge accepted '“wisdom' is polarizing our planet in new and ever more dangerous ways.
