American Hi Fi and Stroke 9 made their way to Michigan Tech on April 21 2002 thanks to the MTU Student Entertainment Board, marking the biggest show to come to Tech in over ten years. The Student Developement Complex was rocking that evening when things got started at just after 7:00. About two thousand tickets were sold, that's almost enough to fill the Rozsa Center... twice.

The show got started fast and furious when Stroke 9 took the stage, getting everybody ready for American Hi Fi to make their presence known.

With powerful guitar sets and addictive drum beats the numerous fans on the MacInnes Ice Arena floor were jumping up and down in exaltation of this event.

"I'm proud to see the board come together for a huge
event like this. I went off perfectly and i'm glad
everyone had fun." -Justin Ledyard

"Stroke 9 did a great job of energizing the crowd. It
was awesome to actually have a "concert" atmosphere
on campus for once!" -Melissa Masucci

"Victoria, Anne and Katie had a great time going
out with the bands after the concert. Wait until
you see the pictures!!" -- Katie

Student Entertainment Board member Nick Rosencrans also created some excellent art in celebration of this concert. Here are some of the images he made for us.
