You can make a difference to night life at Tech! You're invited to become involved in the exciting world of campus events. Join the Student Entertainment Board, Michigan Tech's principal programming board. Be a part of everything it takes to bring great shows to campus. As a member of SEB you will ...

* Have fun and work with a friendly and enthusiastic group of students. Socialize with visiting companies, bands, and other performers. Build a statue at Winter Carnival.

* Meet interesting people. Hypnotists, comedians, musicians, actors, jugglers, dancers, people from all over the world. Attend social events throughout the year and a full season of campus events for free (e.g. shows featuring comedians, hypnotists, national and international touring theater and dance companies, various music groups, etc., all events sponsored by SEB and the Committee for Campus Enrichment).

* Learn valuable communication skills. Deal with talent agencies all over the country. Learn to communicate with performing arts professionals, professional stage crews, and a broad variety of visiting performers. Learn to work as part of a team.

* Learn valuable leadership skills. Organize hospitality and catering for touring company personnel. Serve as an officer of the board.

* Be creative. Devise promotional campaigns. Help design posters and flyers. Develop your problem solving skills.
